Edward N. Kim Jacobs is a highly accomplished talk show host and entrepreneur with a passion for helping others succeed. With over 30 years in the speaking industry, 17 years as a Telly Award Winning Talk Show Host, and a mother of five children, Kim is affectionately known as “The Balance Doctor!”
Kim is an International Motivational Speaker, Managing Director for eWomen Network in Charlotte, NC, and a Certified Seminar Speaker through The Les Brown Speaker's Network. She also founded The Mother Dreamer Movement and Gabe’s Heart Foundation, Inc. She has collaborated in writing three Amazon International Bestselling Books and turned her NBC Balance Expert Tips into a book entitled Extreme Balance Makeover.

Kim Jacobs, daughter of the late Bishop Elijah Jackson and Ella Spratley, was raised by her single mother in a housing project known as "The Bottom" in Newport News, VA. She attended James Madison University (Senior Class President) and obtained her B.S. Degree (Broadcast Communications). Kim earned an MBA from Southeastern University.
Kim accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at 18 years old. Kim is a Pastor at Promise Fellowship Church in Charlotte, NC. Kim is the Mother of five children; Frank Jr. (27), Ivan (23), Gabriel (12 forever), Jeremiah (19), and Jayla (16). Her 12-year-old son, Gabriel Michael Jacobs, passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2015, due to a heart defect. Gabe was 5'10, had a very commanding presence and a huge heart. He was known as "Guardian Gabe," the anti-bullying mediator at his school. In honor of Gabe, Kim founded Gabe’s Heart Foundation to raise funds to place Defibrillators in public spaces where young people congregate. She ensures that he is smiling from Heaven by “Doing it Gabe’s Way” Random Acts of Kindness.
