The Young Black MasterMind BootCamp is a hands-on, 12-month entrepreneurial training program for youth ages 14–18 in Kansas City, Kansas. Built on the proven Black MasterMind BootCamp model, this program equips young Black entrepreneurs—and their parent or guardian—with the mindset, tools, and mentorship needed to launch a successful business.
Through a structured combination of weekly classes, summer mentorship, and a live pitch competition, participants will develop a fully viable business model while learning essential financial and business skills.
Help students launch a business within 12 months
Teach financial literacy, entrepreneurial strategy, and asset-building
Develop success-driven mindsets and business confidence
Involve parents or guardians in legal and financial oversight
Build intergenerational economic stability in the Black community

$5,000 PITCH CONTEST: AUGUST 28, 2025
All students participate in the Pitch Competition
Full Tuition: $1,750 per student + 1 parent/guardian (covered by scholarship)
Participant Contribution:
-$150 per person for books and materials ($300 total) – may be split into 2 payments
-$200 Adult Activity Fee (covers August Summit participation)
